Some sources have meaningful existing location markers, but an ordinary webpage without numbered pages does not need a fabricated page reference.
Use a shortened version of the title that leads clearly to the Works Cited entry. Follow MLA’s title formatting for the kind of work, and include a page number when the source has one. Do not insert an invented author merely to make the citation resemble another example.
APA uses the author’s surname and publication year for a basic in-text reference, with a full entry in the reference list. A direct quotation also needs a location, such as a page number. Match the names and dates carefully so the reader can locate the correct source.
In APA style, a quotation of 40 words or more is set as a separate indented block without quotation marks. Keep it double-spaced and place the citation after the block’s closing punctuation. Check the required formatting carefully rather than enlarging a short quotation just for visual emphasis.
Use a meaningful alternative that helps readers find the quoted passage, such as a paragraph number or section heading. Do not manufacture page numbers from a browser printout. Include the author and date as usual, and choose a locator that suits the actual structure of the source.
