Open the thumbnails sidebar and Command-click the pages you need. Choose File, Print, then select Selection in Preview so the print job uses those selected thumbnails. Inspect the print preview before printing, particularly when the pages are nonconsecutive. Selecting thumbnails alone does not replace checking the print settings.
First check that Tools, Text Selection is active rather than a drawing or rectangular selection tool. If copying is restricted by a password, open the Inspector and check the permissions with the authorized password. Do not assume every PDF is editable merely because it opens for viewing.
A PDF can have logical page labels that differ from its physical page positions, such as Roman-numbered front matter followed by page 1. Check Preview, Settings, PDF and the logical-page-number setting. Compare the sidebar and printed labels before deciding that pages are missing or out of order.
In Acrobat on the web, open Edit, Organize pages and upload the PDF. Drag page thumbnails into the order you want, then save and review the result. This service uses Adobe cloud storage, so use a local editor when the document should remain only on your computer.
Open the PDF with Organize pages, hover over the unwanted page thumbnail, and choose Delete. Review the remaining pages, then save. Keep an original copy when removing pages that may matter later. The web workflow uploads the document and saves the edited file to Adobe cloud storage.
Open All tools, Organize pages and locate the page thumbnail. Use its More menu to copy it, select the insertion point between thumbnails, and paste from the context menu. Check the blue position marker before pasting, then save and verify that both the original and duplicate remain.
Open Organize pages, then select the required thumbnails while holding Ctrl on Windows or Command on Mac. Drag the selection to its new position and review the page order. Use the thumbnails rather than selecting text on a page, which would move or copy a different kind of content.
