The current allowance is up to 20 borrowed titles at a time, including magazine issues. Return an older selection when you want room for another. Look for the return action for that borrowed title; removing a local download is not the same purpose as returning a loan. Keep your current reading shortlist small.

For an Amazon-billed membership, open Kindle Unlimited membership management and follow the cancellation option through to confirmation. Google Play subscriptions are managed through Google Play. Access generally continues until the next billing date, then checked-out content becomes unavailable. Record the end date before relying on a book for a trip or class.

Do not add up retail prices for a pile of borrowed books you never opened. A public library, a book you already own or a one-time purchase might meet your needs better.
For a practical how-to book, preview the edition's contents before committing time to it. A title can be relevant to your topic without covering your exact device, skill level or project. Keep the manufacturer's instructions available for product-specific work.
Audio is a title-by-title feature
Some included books offer narration, identified by the headphone or narration marker. Do not assume an audiobook is included just because the ebook is. Confirm the option on that particular title before starting a separate audio purchase. Kindle Unlimited borrowing and an Audible membership are different arrangements.
